The Liberty, again! When we got into Puyallup, we were pretty hungry, so on the way to The Liberty, we were keeping our eyes open for a place to eat. I spotted Casa Mia right away. It's one of my favorites. They have excellent bread and fettuccine and of course amazing root beer!!! lol We get to The Liberty and dad sees that there is a resturant right next to it, so we walk up to it and there is a group of old ladies in the front. "Looking for a place to eat?" "Are you from around here?" they ask. We respond "Yes" and "No" and then they proceed to talk amongst themselves about the restaurants that we could eat at. The one they were sitting in front of was apparently closed. So we all hint about Casa Mia and they respond with an "oh yah, that will be open. That is an IIItalian place." (pronounced with a strong I) It was pretty humorous! So we all head back into the truck, while mom stays behind to get directions. The old ladies then proceed to bicker amongst themselves about the best way to get there, leaving mom a little confused about where to go. On our way, dad spots a McDonald's and heads into the parking lot. Being in a different car, we were a little confused as to why, so when we get out we realize they want to eat there. It was Uncle Rand and Aunt Caroline's 25 wedding anniversary, so they thought it would be bad luck to eat at the Golden Arches since its the silver anniversary!! They decided to head to Casa Mia instead. Being the rebels we are, Aunt Diana and I chase after them! I of course have my traditional Fettuccine with root beer. The other three shared a calzone. It was a pretty massive calzone! :)
We head back to The Liberty after our lunch so everyone can change before the bridal party left for the park to take pictures. I head in, and of course make a complete fool of myself. I had to go to the el bano, so I head upstairs. Well, it had been a while since I had worn my sketcher brown dress shoes, so I wasn't quite used to the long toe it has. I biffed it walking UP the stairs. It was great. The whole bridal party had been there, cause the bride, Madeline had just walked down the stairs to see Brian for the first time! HAHA yes, a classic Chelsey moment.
The wedding started at 4. At around 3:15 Aunt Caroline, Uncle Rand, and I were getting a little restless, so we headed next door to an antique shop. The place had to have been the crappiest antique shop in the world. We went thru it, and Aunt Caroline must have had at least half the store at her house. Two of the items she had were alone $1,000. The place was a complete rip off, but it was great fun making jokes and seeing how much they could sell all there stuff for at home! Apparently a 1999 Homemakers September magazine is worth $2!!!
We head back in just in time to be seated and await the bride's entrance. The wedding was very beautiful along with Madeline's dress. The ceremony was very sweet and touching. It was great to see them finally married.

The Bridesmaids, middle one is Madeline's daughter.
The Cute Couple Following the ceremony was a wonderful reception. They had a delicious sit down dinner. The ham practically melted in your mouth it was so tender! Then there was the toasting, cake cutting, and dancing. I actually got Grandma Watson, Aunt Caroline, Uncle Rand, and Gene out on the dance floor dancing to some 50 cent!! It was the most fun I had had since my party!! It was hilarious! Gene had some great moves, at 80!!!
Our table, probably the driest one there, was by far the craziest!! We had a blast joking around and eating the skittles on the table!! Uncle Rand got so wild he started asking for "CHider"!!
Dancing the night away. Well at least before we have to leave
and drive home for 4 hours!
The Beautiful new family!!!
