Happy Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA It's been awhile! ; p

Hello all!!! I know it has been a while! Sorry for that, been quite busy, you know with being in college and everything!! ;) So school is still going great!! Been really busy, but haven't gotten to the point that I have gone crazy yet!! On friday, I declared!!! I am now officially majoring in Biology!! It was really quite depressing, seeing the next three years of my life planned out in 10 mins! But, none the less, I am really excited to finally have decided!! And if I minor in music, it will be during my sophomore year! So yah I am just gonna feel you in from when i posted last, to what has happened most recently!

The first thing that happened was a halloween dance for the Young Single Adults in the Spokane region. It was held at a German club house in downtown Spokane. It was okay, the dance before was a lot more fun, but getting all dressed up was a blast! I went as an 80s girl. The first person I met at church was Amy. She is hilarious I love her! She is 28, she went back to EWU after getting her masters in psychology to get a masters in clinical psychology. She is really fun to be around! So since she grew up in the 80s she had a bunch of fun clothes for me to wear! I even had matching pink heels!! ; ) Amy, being as hilarious as she is, went as a SUITCASE!!!!!! It was AMAZING!!! Sorry the pictures are blurry, I didn't take them!

Amy and I. I have no idea who the crazy leprechaun man is! hehe

Dancing!

The next thing that has happened since my last post was the Young Single Adult Turkey bowl for the Spokane singles from church. There were about 13 teams there. The Cheney YSA's made up two teams so there were a quite of us from our ward there. We played 3 games, made it to the semi-finals!! The last game we played, the quarter back from our team threw the ball down the middle, I ran towards the middle to block and watched Wade and another guy from the other team go for the ball. Well, they both jump, the other guy rams into Wade, slamming him into me. I fly to the ground, hit my head on the ground, and then Wade falls on to the top of me. Everyone was like "OHH"!!!!!! I laid there for a second then got up and kept playing. It hurt, but I was like "man I hope I get a black eye that would be sweet!" haha. As it turns out I did!!! This is a picture a day after the game. The flash makes it look a little better than it was, but I thought it was a pretty entertaining experience! I loved playing tough with the guys it was really fun!

My beautiful eye!

Next came Thanksgiving!! Kathy went home with me. It was sooo nice to be home! Good food, being able to see friends, no flip flops in the shower, and a comfy bed!!! It's funny, what you come to miss!!

The next thing was the first snow!!!! It was sooo nice, all of the kids were so excited. The snow made everyone excited. Everyone was running around screaming. The office had sleds, so Austin and I checked two out, while everyone else used black garbage bags! They made holes for the head and two arms and put them on like a sweatshirt. They went down head first like penguins!!! It was hilarious!

Outside of my dorm. They just put in heated sidewalks.
They are very nice!

I know I look horrible, but thats what two hours
of sledding and snowball fights to to your makeup!
I am also eating a hostess snowball! HEHE

Austin, Tyler, and I. We were messing around before the sledding!

A couple nights later, there was a dance called the Gold and Green Ball put on by the Cheney First Ward. It was at the Cheney. It was a dance for YSAs and older couples in the ward. Tyler asked me, so we went along with my friend Kathy and her now ex-boyfriend (thank goodness!!) It was pretty fun, but there were only like 3 other YSA couples there! I curled my hair in spirals and then pinned the top up in an updo and had the rest just down, it was really pretty, but sadly, I forgot to take a picture of it!

Me being silly, I am always contemplating life!

From left to right:
Kathy, Jackson, Mike, Leann, Me, and Tyler

Then came the next snowfall and exchange of christmas presents. Ashley and Brittany, friends from high school, live on the 6th floor of my dorm, so we hang out! We exchanged presents by going to our rooms, incorporating their present into our room, and then running to each other's room and searching for what we thought they gave us! It was quite entertaining!! We were running all over Morrison, up and down the elevators!

All of our presents!! I LOVE easy mac!!

Ashley got my snowball makers!! They are hilarious!

A few days later, it snowed a lot, we made snowballs with the snowball makers and then the guys came out and we messed around with Tyler's camera it was really fun! The snow flakes were huge, it was soo beautiful!

Our perfect snowballs!

Me nailing Ashley!

Aus and I eating snow!

Austin my next door neighbor! He is hilarious!

Matt throwing a snowball! I went to highschool with him
and he ended up to be on my floor!

The boys and I!

Well then came finals! They were fine, got a little stressed out, but made it through. I ended up with a 3 in Bio, 3.2 in precalc, 4 in english (my last english class ever!) orchestra, and private lessons! An overall 3.58. I have to work a lot harder in Bio, should have studied more! lol oh well Next semester! I am home now for Christmas break. We got Dec 14 to Jan 6 off! It is amazing to be home!! So comfortable and NO HOMEWORK!!!! We decorated the tree when I got home. We opened one present on Christmas day, the rest have to stay a surprise until Brandi and Mckenna get her on the 29th! Hope everyone's Holidays were fun and eventful or peaceful! lol

Thanks BRANDI!!!!

So Brandi tagged me. Even though i have already done this on myspace!!! LoL the rules are, someone tags you, you list 10 things about you, and then tag 5 more people. Since I only know one other person with a blog, I am going to tag BRANDEN!!! HAHAH

1) I have a very good sense of smell. Each smell I associate with a memory. The next time I smell it, I remember that memory.

2) I can remember where I bought it, how much it was, and if it was on sale. Especially if I love it!

3) Many of you most likely know this, but I loveeee dancing! I will dance like there is no tomorrow, it makes me so happy!

4) I plan like there is no tomorrow. Everything should be set and prepared for, especially a big get together. I get annoyed when plans change, especially if I am the one who set them first.

5) I LOVE cleaning!!! Rooms, desks, even bathrooms!! It makes me really happy, and I feel so accomplished when I finish and see everything sparkle.

6) I Burp, LOUDLY.

7) Moulin Rouge is my FAVORITE movie. I will watch anything to do with Nicole Kidman or Ewan McGregor. I am a little obsessed.

8) I laugh the same way my mom does. Especially when it is hilarious. We both squeak.

9) I sit/walk extremely close to others. I love people!

10) I love doing things for others, especially things like cooking, or picking up after them. It is the mom in me!

Have fun BRANDEN!!! MUWAHAHAH

Fall at EWU

Walking to class today, I realized how beautiful the campus has become. The weather has been really crappy here, fall is upon us, and shortly, snow will be falling. Already, I have been wearing both a sweatshirt and a winter coat!!! Yesterday, for some strange reason, the weather was amazing. The week went from being in the low 50's to a 70 degree day!! It was soooo nice, to just wear one layer!! Alas, it lasted only one day, and today we were back to rain and 50's. Classes have been going great. I still really enjoy my teachers and the subjects. Well as much as I have always enjoyed english. =)!! I have been studying a lot, mostly biology. Lots of reading, and after she finishes a lecture for a chapter, I take my notes and then type them so they are organized. It has been really beneficial in studying for my first midterm, which is on monday!! AHHH I am a little nervous, because I don't have any idea what her tests are like. Oh well, I am just gonna study my butt off!! On the first day of class for Bio, this really nice girl, morgan, sat right next to me, and we hit it off. She is really funny and she even is in orchestra! It was really funny how much we had in common. We have been studying ever night together, going over the notes I have typed. It has been really good for the both of us. I am really glad that I took AP chemistry last year. It has been really useful for the things we are learning!! Well I went home, last weekend. It was really good to be back and have a great home cooked meal and of course not having to do my laundry!!! THANKS MOM!!! I was surprised at how much stuff I missed. Even my chair at the kitchen table felt amazing!!! HAHA I also found that yes, I had gained weight. In fact 4 lbs worth!! So yesterday I got my butt in the gym and got myself a workout buddy, Jason Danch. We actually went to Kamiakin together, but really only knew each other through other people. So my plan is to at least lose the 4 lbs and maybe a couple extra!! =) Don't worry, I have also had the time to watch my favorite shows, so I am quite content!! Thank goodness for friends who have tv's and love the shows I do!!! Well enjoy the beautiful pictures of my campus!!!

What I see when I leave the library!!
(Click on it to see the big picture, its gorgeous!!)

Walking to the music building!!

Walking to eat!!! YAH food!!

Along with fall comes football games!!! I attended my first game two weeks ago!! It was fun, but sooooooo COLD!!!! I was wearing 4, YES 4 sweatshirts, and I was still freezing!!!! Gloves, of course were also worn!! Sadly we lost, I believe it was 20-23, something like that!! The other team scored with 3 minutes left on the clock, so we headed up to Jason's dorm to watch from there, in a HEATED room!!!! Some crazy pics from the game!!!

Also, just for fun!! This is one of my new good friends Kathy!! She's originally from Colorado!! She's gonna spend Thanksgiving with us!! I am so excited!!! Here is a wonderfully random video from lunch in Tawanka today!!! I had a tomato basil chicken rap and Kathy had a chicken salad!! If you were wondering!!! ;p

Finally at EWU!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have finally started my college adventures at Eastern Washington University!! The school is located in Cheney, WA. The small town is about 15 minutes from Spokane, so I am not completely isolated from the outside world!!! Leaving home, like the actually house was the hardest. I gave mom her birthday present, a book, right before I left. She broke down, I broke down, it was just a teary mess!!! But all is well. My roommate is pretty sweet, we seem to be getting along nicely, but she seems to not realize that what is my is not always hers, so we may have to have a little chat!!! I have met a couple really cool people, Tyler, and some people from church that seem really fun. I have mostly been spending my time with Brittany, Ashley, and Tyler. We have a great time!! It has been a blast. School doesn't start until the 26, so we have just been hanging out, getting organized, and going to some orientation activities.

My Room!!! Finally it is clean after I have
packed everything off to school!!!

The infamous college picture!!!! Luckily you can't see my face
in this one. Really bright light=really squinty face!!

Today, I headed off to my first Singles Ward!! It was a blast and I immediatley met some really cool people. Everyone seems to get along really well and there doesnt seem to be any major cliques or anything, like there usually is. I am really excited to get to know everyone. Especially, meeting someone with a car!!!! : ) So I will post some pics of my sweetly decorated dorm room and such after classes start!!!! Wish me luck!!!

Parade of Homes!!!

This year there were 30 houses. It took mom and I two saturdays to get through them all!! All of the homes were great, some better than others. Tile was used in almost every home along with wood floors and granite or marble counter tops. With most being over $200,000, even as starter homes, mom kept saying, "I don't know how you are every going to afford a home!" It was funny but so true!!! : ) I took a video and a bunch of pictures of the biggest home on the tour. The house was over 7,000 sq. ft. and valued at over $2 million. It was custom built for a small family with only one child!! It was a little much, but amazing at the same time!!

A video of the house, sorry it is pretty shaky, but I thought it
would make it easier to visualize the house!!!!

Brian Estey's Wedding

Well last Sunday, we headed off to my cousin Brian's wedding. Grandma Watson, Uncle Rand, Aunt Caroline, Uncle Rick, and Aunt Diana showed up that day at about 12:30 a.m from Menan. We hit the road at about 10 a.m. to drive over to Puyallup. The wedding was to be held in a renovated building called the Liberty. It was very beautiful, and a great location for a wedding. The drive up was a blast. I went up with Uncle Rand and Rick and Aunt Caroline. She and I talked the whole way up. It was pretty hilarious!

The Liberty

The Liberty, again!

When we got into Puyallup, we were pretty hungry, so on the way to The Liberty, we were keeping our eyes open for a place to eat. I spotted Casa Mia right away. It's one of my favorites. They have excellent bread and fettuccine and of course amazing root beer!!! lol We get to The Liberty and dad sees that there is a resturant right next to it, so we walk up to it and there is a group of old ladies in the front. "Looking for a place to eat?" "Are you from around here?" they ask. We respond "Yes" and "No" and then they proceed to talk amongst themselves about the restaurants that we could eat at. The one they were sitting in front of was apparently closed. So we all hint about Casa Mia and they respond with an "oh yah, that will be open. That is an IIItalian place." (pronounced with a strong I) It was pretty humorous! So we all head back into the truck, while mom stays behind to get directions. The old ladies then proceed to bicker amongst themselves about the best way to get there, leaving mom a little confused about where to go. On our way, dad spots a McDonald's and heads into the parking lot. Being in a different car, we were a little confused as to why, so when we get out we realize they want to eat there. It was Uncle Rand and Aunt Caroline's 25 wedding anniversary, so they thought it would be bad luck to eat at the Golden Arches since its the silver anniversary!! They decided to head to Casa Mia instead. Being the rebels we are, Aunt Diana and I chase after them! I of course have my traditional Fettuccine with root beer. The other three shared a calzone. It was a pretty massive calzone! :)

We head back to The Liberty after our lunch so everyone can change before the bridal party left for the park to take pictures. I head in, and of course make a complete fool of myself. I had to go to the el bano, so I head upstairs. Well, it had been a while since I had worn my sketcher brown dress shoes, so I wasn't quite used to the long toe it has. I biffed it walking UP the stairs. It was great. The whole bridal party had been there, cause the bride, Madeline had just walked down the stairs to see Brian for the first time! HAHA yes, a classic Chelsey moment.

The wedding started at 4. At around 3:15 Aunt Caroline, Uncle Rand, and I were getting a little restless, so we headed next door to an antique shop. The place had to have been the crappiest antique shop in the world. We went thru it, and Aunt Caroline must have had at least half the store at her house. Two of the items she had were alone $1,000. The place was a complete rip off, but it was great fun making jokes and seeing how much they could sell all there stuff for at home! Apparently a 1999 Homemakers September magazine is worth $2!!!

We head back in just in time to be seated and await the bride's entrance. The wedding was very beautiful along with Madeline's dress. The ceremony was very sweet and touching. It was great to see them finally married.

Brian patiently waiting...

The Bridesmaids, middle one is Madeline's daughter.

The Groomsman, The young boy is Madeline's son.

The Cute Couple

Following the ceremony was a wonderful reception. They had a delicious sit down dinner. The ham practically melted in your mouth it was so tender! Then there was the toasting, cake cutting, and dancing. I actually got Grandma Watson, Aunt Caroline, Uncle Rand, and Gene out on the dance floor dancing to some 50 cent!! It was the most fun I had had since my party!! It was hilarious! Gene had some great moves, at 80!!!

Gene and I!!! She is AMAZING!!! I LOVE HER!!

Uncle Rick, his smile is so disarming!

The veterans!! :)

Finally a great pic of mom and dad!

The Groom's mom, Aunt Renee, She's wonderful!

Grandma Watson, she can really bust a move!

THE REBELS!!!

Our table, probably the driest one there, was by far the craziest!! We had a blast joking around and eating the skittles on the table!! Uncle Rand got so wild he started asking for "CHider"!!

That cake was to die for!!!

Dancing the night away. Well at least before we have to leave
and drive home for 4 hours!

The Beautiful new family!!!

The whole day was great!! I LOVE weddings! Mom and Aunt Caroline and I have already started planning mine!! lol :) We left the shindig at around 8:30 and proceeded to beat Dad's truck home!!
