I am a horrible blogger and your just going to have to deal with it!!!!!! ; )
Yes, I know it has been forever!! Christmas in fact!! Well a lot has happened during my winter quarter here at EWU!! First off, the snow fell. And fell. And FELL!!!!!! Over 3 feet in fact. School was cancelled for 3 days in one week. Eastern hasn't closed school since Mt. St. Helen's erupted. Yah it was that bad!! But, we had a blast in it none the less!!
Crazy Elder Torrance!!!
A beautiful snowman! Built by Cari and I. It has no head because we are to short to put one on. That alone was taller than us! YAh, we know, were amazing!!!
Take two!! First one....not so good! ;p
The moon on the ride home!! It was a crazy cool sunset!
Before we dove in!!!
Wade challenged me to finish my dinner before him!! I almost made it!! None of the other girls even got close!! IT WAS SOOO GOOD!
Cari and I's adventure walking to church!! Keep in mind none of this footage was rehearsed!!
Our timing is impeccable!! HAHA

YAh, we know, were amazing!!!On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I went home for the weekend!! Ian's brother Eric had his wedding reception, so I went along to keep Ian company and to eat cake!! MMM.. Cake it was great! Here is us being bored and taking pictures!

The moon on the ride home!! It was a crazy cool sunset!Well between Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Valentines day, all I did was study, eat (to much by the way!), not work out, go to Moses Lake with Cari for a weekend, and wait for the snow to MELT!! I have been doing extremely well on my bio tests, so I have been feeling pretty good!! I also received a new calling for the Institute! I am now the Latter-Day Saint Student Association President! (LDSSA) It is a club through EWU that is through the Institute! I was a little overwhelmed at the beginning, but it has been a blast! We are planning Mr. Institute (mock pageant!) for April and a Hoagie Eat-A-Thon fund raiser in May for Wishingstar! It has been a really great experience to learn how to plan all of these big events, plus, it will look great on applications!!! HAHA
Cari and I trying to be gangsta driving to Moses!
Cari being crazy!! @ 2 in the morning!! Tampico with ice cream and sprite!
Coming back home to Cheneyville!

So our original experiment was to test a frogs white blood cell counts to see if they would decrease over a certain amount of time exposed to Malathion, a pesticide. Here is the frog I took blood from! We did a heart puncture. Took the blood right from the beating heart, don't worry, we put them to sleep first!! IT WAS THE COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE!!

A frog! We were waiting for him to wake up! Took him over 3 hours to wake up from the medication we gave it. WHOOPS!!
Well on Valentine's day, I got lucky and had a date!! Wade asked me to go with him and two other couples. None of the girls knew what was planned for the night, so we were all surprised when we drove to Cour de' Laine and went to a DRIVE THRU MEXICAN RESTAURANT! We went inside at least!!! HAHA But really, it was amazing!!!

Coming back home to Cheneyville!Along with all of my classes and Institute stuff, I am also conducting an experiment on frogs for my BIO 270 class! This class is a lot of work for only 3 credits, but it is really cool, because we are actually doing real science!! We had to come up with and design an experiment all on our own!! I am in a group with Chase, (we knew each other from Institute), Lyndsee (from Hawaii), and Danna (from Alaksa). We have a really good group dynamic!! The only thing is, it is pretty much Chase and I doing it, we just let the other girls know what to do and when to do it! HAHA Guess I haven't really learned how to do group work! : )

We were to drive to the lake and then take pictures as a couple to put in frames that we would decorate for each other! It was a great idea, but it was FREEZING!!!! SOO cold!! But, it was really pretty and fun! After that, we headed back to Spokane to Josh's, Wade's good friend's apartment. It was decorated really well!! The guys had checked out a projector from the school library and downloaded an animated screen saver to put on the wall! It was really cool!
Thanks for spending the hour it took you to read this!! HAHAH

The coolest pic we took for our frames!Well that was on Thursday and that Saturday was the PINE WOOD DERBY!! Since I was still considered the unofficial LDSSA prez, I was only put in charge of refreshments, so Wade and I went over around 3:30 to finish our car and to set up. There were a lot of different categories of cars that raced. We raced one in the regulation group and one in the less than 15 minute group!! Hopefully you can guess which car was in which group!!! It was a blast!

Happy Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!!!!!!!!!!! HAHA It's been awhile! ; p
Hello all!!! I know it has been a while! Sorry for that, been quite busy, you know with being in college and everything!! ;) So school is still going great!! Been really busy, but haven't gotten to the point that I have gone crazy yet!! On friday, I declared!!! I am now officially majoring in Biology!! It was really quite depressing, seeing the next three years of my life planned out in 10 mins! But, none the less, I am really excited to finally have decided!! And if I minor in music, it will be during my sophomore year! So yah I am just gonna feel you in from when i posted last, to what has happened most recently!
The first thing that happened was a halloween dance for the Young Single Adults in the Spokane region. It was held at a German club house in downtown Spokane. It was okay, the dance before was a lot more fun, but getting all dressed up was a blast! I went as an 80s girl. The first person I met at church was Amy. She is hilarious I love her! She is 28, she went back to EWU after getting her masters in psychology to get a masters in clinical psychology. She is really fun to be around! So since she grew up in the 80s she had a bunch of fun clothes for me to wear! I even had matching pink heels!! ; ) Amy, being as hilarious as she is, went as a SUITCASE!!!!!! It was AMAZING!!! Sorry the pictures are blurry, I didn't take them!
The next thing that has happened since my last post was the Young Single Adult Turkey bowl for the Spokane singles from church. There were about 13 teams there. The Cheney YSA's made up two teams so there were a quite of us from our ward there. We played 3 games, made it to the semi-finals!! The last game we played, the quarter back from our team threw the ball down the middle, I ran towards the middle to block and watched Wade and another guy from the other team go for the ball. Well, they both jump, the other guy rams into Wade, slamming him into me. I fly to the ground, hit my head on the ground, and then Wade falls on to the top of me. Everyone was like "OHH"!!!!!! I laid there for a second then got up and kept playing. It hurt, but I was like "man I hope I get a black eye that would be sweet!" haha. As it turns out I did!!! This is a picture a day after the game. The flash makes it look a little better than it was, but I thought it was a pretty entertaining experience! I loved playing tough with the guys it was really fun!
My beautiful eye!

My beautiful eye!Next came Thanksgiving!! Kathy went home with me. It was sooo nice to be home! Good food, being able to see friends, no flip flops in the shower, and a comfy bed!!! It's funny, what you come to miss!!
The next thing was the first snow!!!! It was sooo nice, all of the kids were so excited. The snow made everyone excited. Everyone was running around screaming. The office had sleds, so Austin and I checked two out, while everyone else used black garbage bags! They made holes for the head and two arms and put them on like a sweatshirt. They went down head first like penguins!!! It was hilarious!
I know I look horrible, but thats what two hours
of sledding and snowball fights to to your makeup!
I am also eating a hostess snowball! HEHE
Austin, Tyler, and I. We were messing around before the sledding!
Me being silly, I am always contemplating life!

Then came the next snowfall and exchange of christmas presents. Ashley and Brittany, friends from high school, live on the 6th floor of my dorm, so we hang out! We exchanged presents by going to our rooms, incorporating their present into our room, and then running to each other's room and searching for what we thought they gave us! It was quite entertaining!! We were running all over Morrison, up and down the elevators!
All of our presents!! I LOVE easy mac!!
Ashley got my snowball makers!! They are hilarious!

Austin, Tyler, and I. We were messing around before the sledding!A couple nights later, there was a dance called the Gold and Green Ball put on by the Cheney First Ward. It was at the Cheney. It was a dance for YSAs and older couples in the ward. Tyler asked me, so we went along with my friend Kathy and her now ex-boyfriend (thank goodness!!) It was pretty fun, but there were only like 3 other YSA couples there! I curled my hair in spirals and then pinned the top up in an updo and had the rest just down, it was really pretty, but sadly, I forgot to take a picture of it!

I have to work a lot harder in Bio, should have studied more! lol oh well Next semester! I am home now for Christmas break. We got Dec 14 to Jan 6 off! It is amazing to be home!! So comfortable and NO HOMEWORK!!!! We decorated the tree when I got home. We opened one present on Christmas day, the rest have to stay a surprise until Brandi and Mckenna get her on the 29th!
